- I was chosen as a finalist for the Solo Players Flute Competition at Music Echoes in Ft Walton Beach FL this year and after an amazing 3 rounds of playing against 4 other finalists, I came in 2nd place. I play with my group Branches Breath in public at festivals and events around Indianapolis about 2-3 times a month, but also in small groups with other musicians or privately. I love the people it has connected me with and the creativity it allows. I have recently acquired a couple side-blown bamboo flutes, an anasazi and a very nice Shakuhachi by Perry Yung to try and expand my wind instrument horizons. Outdoor Interests, Alpine Skiing, Hiking, Camping, White Water Rafting, and spending anytime we can doing anything out west.

- What's in your collection? (Favorite makers and flutes)
- I have a range of keys spanning from Sub-bass D to ultra high G# and total about 40. 3-sub basses, 1 sub bass drone, 4 branch flutes from John, Geri, Harold and Dale. Lone Crow, Brad Young, Russ V, Stilvalley, Brent Haines, Stellar, Colyn P, Coyote Oldman, Earl Tharp, pretty much make up all of my mid to high range flutes.
Alternate flutes include G# Anasazi by Coyote Oldman, 2 transverse bamboo flutes by Earl Tharp, Magen Abot E by Russ V, Shakuhachi by Perry Yung, Silver flute by Armstrong,
