- About Me:
- I am an elementary teacher in an innercity school. I received my masters degree at U of I in 1988. I've always been told I have Cherokee ancestors, and I feel very drawen to Native American aspects of life. I try to play a Native American flute. I am not very good at it, but it makes me feel good for myself. I am writing because we would love to have a flute player &/or storyteller at our school, IPS #34 during November. - I have 2 flutes. On is Lakota and the other is Cherokee. Neither is very expensively made.
