Some Improvements for '09, Jeff and I are focusing on greatly upgrading both the diversity and quality of our flute collections. We have been very fortunate that practically all of our flutes that are supposed to match, do, even made in different styles, woods and makers but they go perfectly together. Jeff has upgraded/rebuilt his portable sound system to an amazing level they can only be described as compact and powerful. I have traded off my Vox DA20 in exchange for a Line 6 Spider III 75 w amp with amzing sound and affects. I have also recently upgraded my Shure SM48 for a brand new Audix OM2 which clearly beats the Shure 58 by a huge margin.

I have some amazing flutes on the way, my most anticipated and most exciting flute on order which I will not have till spring is an amazing sub-bass F# Drone. Can not describe the sound, unbelievable. A new little addition to the bag of tricks is a Aztec Death Whistle. Copied from Aztec and Mayan artifacts dated to 400 B.C. and were played to anounce the start of ceremonies, deaths, war, persons arrival or departure and eventually played along with drums, conch shell and flutes. Stay tuned for some great music coming up. Finally getting together to record some quality stuff. Hope it goes well.
